Hello, I am Laomai Cherry. Today is my birthday, as some of you might know. I am 8 years old, and my parents gave me a blog for my birthday. Thanks a lot, Mom & Dad. I am very excited to be able to do this. I can't wait to hear from you who read my blog. I am going to have some interesting things to write about, and one of the things I am going to write about first is my family.
My sisters are very fun, also usually my only playmates on Saturday. Whenever I cry, if she's in a good mood, Chayah says, "Mai Mai, don't cry!" (Mai Mai is her nickname for me) Or, if she's in a bad mood, she says, "Mai Mai, no crying!" In a grumpy way. And that still makes me feel better, because it's so cute. + funny. And then there's Yaya. Oh, she is awesome. She plays games with me, and sometimes Candy Land. I used to not like her, well, be jealous of her. But now I LOVE her. She is about the best at Chutes and Ladders, and although sometimes I'm disappointed when she wins, I still love her. Then there's my mom. Oh, how wonderful she is! I love it that I came from her, and I also like the feeling I get when she sets me on her lap for a Mom-is-awesome hug. And last but definitely NOT least, Dad. He gives affectionately, and he is the best dad a girl can want. I hope that someday we'll both be rejoicing together with the angels, and besides that, he can also be quite awesome. One day we were all wearing ponytails, and Dad suddenly put on a toy superhero cape, asked for a rubber band and Mom put a pony tail in his hair. It was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!! And that's about it. You'll definitely enjoy my next blog, and it'll be about the 2nd volume in the Elsie Dinsmore series. Goodbye and welcome to my blog.
